My guide, Adolfo, was very friendly and took me to the most beautiful sites and trekking I have ever done and probably ever will. He was very professional and personal, you can tell he enjoys what he does and loves to share his passion. I showed my photos off to many friends along my journey and the one’s who did the trek with other companies were blown away at some of the “secret places” Adolfo took me.

"As much as I was knocked out by the view of the mountains that I had trekking through the Cordillera de Huayhuash in May 2015, I was impressed by the guiding service of Los Amigos de Huayhuash. Upon our arrival in Huarez we were greeted by Anamin who gave us a good orientation, facilitated getting us checked into our place of lodging and then directed us to some of the best places to eat while we were getting acclimated around town. After a couple of days in Huarez and climbing to Lago Churup to test our tolerance for high altitude climbing, we connected with Anamin’s brother, Adolfo, who expertly guided us through the Huayhuash. He is very experienced in the mountains and well informed about them. He took us to places more beautiful than I ever imagined! And often it seemed as though we were having an exclusive viewing of the mountains. He treated us like good friends and was very attentive and responsive to our wants and needs from beginning to end. The trip was an absolute 10! Without reservation or hesitation I would call Los Amigos de Huayhuash for another adventure into the Cordillera de Huayhuash”
